This is my first web-site. I hope it will be of interest and answer some of the questions that people ask me about my work.
In the Galleries section I have only included a selection of paintings from 2009 to the present day. This current year will be periodically updated with new work.
Oil paintings now predominate over pastel work but the subjects still remain the same, that is the Welsh mountain landscape and the people who live and work there.
Constable said: ”But I should paint my own places best”; so I guess that the Welsh hills are for me the place that I know best. I don’t paint the big mountain scenes but rather the quiet and forgotten corners which for me fit with what I want to say and where I prefer to spend my time.
